The Preschool Ministry at Edwards Road exists to share the love of Jesus with preschoolers in order to prepare their hearts and minds to understand and accept the salvation Jesus offers.

Safety is a Priority
We work hard to create a safe environment for every child. All volunteers must complete our Keeping Kids Safe form.  We also conduct a criminal background check, search the SC sex offender’s web site, and check a reference for every volunteer. We use security labels to ensure each child is picked up by the person who dropped them off.  Other safety measures are in place at each of our events.

Sunday Morning
Fun, creative, and caring Sunday morning environments where children are taught about God, Jesus, and the Bible on age-appropriate levels.  Beginning at 9:00 am, there are classes for children from Birth to K4.  Children from 2 years to K4 participate in Wiggle Worship.  Children in K5 participate in Superstars.  Classes continue at 10:30 am for children from Birth to K4.

Wiggle Worship
An exciting time filled with music, motions, and a Bible story for the 2 to 4 year olds on Sunday mornings. The SuperStars and PuppetCheers lead this wiggly worship.

Preschool Choirs
Learning music and motions and how much Jesus loves them could not be more fun for children in K4. There are occasional performances throughout the year.  Hands-On Bible classes are provided for 2 and 3 year olds.  Each Wednesday at 6:30 pm following Family Night Supper.

AWANA
Through play, art, and Bible lessons, personal attention is given to children in these fun and meaningful classes for K3 –K4.

Vacation Bible School
An exciting ministry to the whole family that will take an entirely new approach in July 2006.

Notes to Parents
Our Preschool Ministry is for children of adults who are attending ERBC events.  For it to be most effective, we ask that you assist us in the following ways:

• Place a security label on your child for every class.
• Label bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers, and diaper bags with the child’s name.
• Check in at the Preschool Lobby desk the first time your child attends the Preschool Ministry.
• Keep children with a fever, virus, or contagious illness at home.

Pagers are available to adults while on the ERBC campus.
While in class, children will be offered a small snack of juice and crackers.
Age assignments are made based on the child's age on September 1.
Babies and one year olds are moved to older rooms as they develop and as space allows.  2- through 4-year-olds are moved on Promotion Sunday.
